Hannan Rent a Car

KNOW ALL MEN BY THESE PRESENTS:

This Agreement made and executed by and between the RENTER and HANNAN RENT A CAR, a company duly organized and existing under and by virtue of the Philippines, after called the COMPANY.

WITNESSETH

The company hereby rents to the RENTER acknowledges and agrees to the following:

TERMS OF PAYMENT: For each rental, a deposit of P5,000.00/based on insurance policy participation is payable is payable prior to the release of the unit. In case of a lease period of more than one (1) month, rental shall be paid at the end of each month period.

FOR CHANGE IN ADDRESS OR TEL. NOS.: Please notify our office immediately at the phone and address specified on the front of the statement.

CANCELLATION: 50% of the rental shall be charged if the Renter fails to cancel his or her reservation or trip 2 days before the rental date.

REFUNDABLE DEPOSIT: Shall be paid in advance together with the rental, and shall be reimbursable upon return of the car. All losses or damages not chargeable to our insurance like radio, tools, tires, rims, mirror, and other car accessories shall be deducted from the R.D. first before reimbursement.

EXCESS HOURS: Use of the vehicle beyond the agreed return time specified herein shall be subject to the penalty rate (P250.00) per hour unless an extension has been requested and approved. No fraction of time is allowed for the 24 hours rental. A fraction is allowed after the first 24 hours and we shall charge you 10% of the daily rate per hour thereafter (minimum charge is P300.00).

RENTAL EXTENSION: The Renter can request for an extension to his specified return time, while the rental is in progress. If the extension is beyond 6 hours, we shall charge you an equivalent to 1 day rental in the amount of (P_______________) as requested by the renter and approved by at 3 hours prior to the return time, or be charged to the agreed return time, unless a Rental Extension has been requested and paid by the Renter.

Any delay in the return of the vehicle without any advise whatsoever, we will automatically report the vehicle missing to the constabulary Anti-Carnapping Group.

Driver's Fee: (For the account of the )
Metro Manila P200.00 / 8 hours
Excess Hour at P20.00 Food must be provided to the driver
Out of Town P300.00 / 8 hours (excess hour at P30.00)
Food and lodging must be provided to the driver.

SELF-DRIVE REQUIREMENTS:

Valid Passport(to be withheld by the company)
Latest proof of billing (original copy) in the name of the renter, such as meralco, PLDT, Credit cards.
Lease of contract if the renter is leasing.
Drivers License local/international
Valid ID with photo such as SSS, GSIS,PRC company ID
RESIDENT ALIEN – Alien certification Registration Card to be withheld
COMPANY RENTAL – Certificate from the company requesting rental, signed by the highest official of the company.

IN CASE OF DAMAGE TO VEHICLE:
Renter must secure Police Report, photocopy of driver's license, and will pay P5,000.00 Participation Fee + 10% of the total parts replacement and 50% of the daily rate, exclusive of insurance liability.
In case of loss or total damage to the said vehicle, the Renter shall shoulder 10% of the current market value, exclusive of the insurance liability within 7 days from date of accident / loss.
PARKING FEES / TOLL FEES / TRAFFIC FINES:
For the account of the Renter.

FLAT TIRES WHILE ON RENTAL:
Flat tires incurred by the Renter while on rental, vulcanizing charges shall be for the account of the Renter.

LOST / DAMAGED KEYS:
Renter's failure to return car keys is automatically charged with fee of P200.00.

RELEASE OF LIABILITY:
HANNAN RENT A CAR is not liable or responsible for any losses of any valuables left in the car. The Renter hereby undertake and guarantees that the car shall be used and operated for lawful purposes and in strict conformity with all applicable laws, ordinance, and regulations. If the Renter used or permits the use of vehicle for any unlawful purpose, he shall render HANNAN Rent a Car harmless from any and all connected therewith. HANNAN Rent A Car shall not be responsible for any unforeseen happenings beyond human control during the duration of this Contract (like broken bridges, unpassable roads, etc. caused by commotion, typhoon, or any natural calamity) that may damage or prevent the car from reaching the destination on time.

COURSE OF ACTION:
In the event that the Renter does violate a stipulation on this Agreement, HANNAN Rent A Car may request and demand the restoration and the return of the car before the termination of this Agreement, it may be instituted in the city of Manila at the option of HANNAN Rent A Car. It is understood that the Renter shall defray all Court's costs, attorney's fees, and legal interest. We shall charge you interest of 5% a month for account over 30 days plus all other costs.
That the parties herein agree to adopt all the stipulation terms and conditions appearing on the front page of this Agreement as an integral part hereof.
